    Sweet Clover.

    I would plant Sweet Clover on my farm but I'm afraid it would taint my Sourwood Crop. I've got acres that I could plant.

    Layen's Hive production.

    With an established hive about how much honey would a Beekeeper average with this hive per year. I live in Western NC where we have two major honey flows.Poplar and Sourwood.

    Yes since I'm on disability so Money is an issue so I guess the long hive is my best bet But I have one problem I live on the side of a hill to get to the hive would be easy getting back to the house...

    I've four hives from 13 three produced a crop for me this year my condition is permanent and will get worse. Lookin at getting a motor when I save up some.

    Update on my hive that I checkerboarded looked yesterday for queencells none.She had brood in four boxes lot of new comb starting to be built the hive looks great.

    Looks like queen deaths for most of them did have two starve outs and three with laying workers when opened in spring.
