    I run 16" nucs out of 3/4" stock.. nice round cutting numbers that help minimize the waist.
    Gives me space for 10 bars and a folower board or a 4 next to 5 bar set up with a division board feeder...

    Given the scope and scale of the breeding and requeening program leading to improvements in honey yield and Varroa resistance I would argue they are much closer to something like buckfast or the USDA...

    well I don't know of a single TF practitioner that treats their swarms and packages. Real world is bees show up with mites and this is a real world test.
