Re: Please Post your Swarm Dates?

I caught a swarm last year on June 23, 2017. I was all excited to catch my first swarm. Turned out to be out of my own hive. :lookout:
They landed on the ground. I put down a nuc with some...

If it were -57, I can tell you, this girl would be moving someplace else! :)

    Bad punctuation on my part.

I'm not sure about the fermentation theory. Until the last couple of days, we...

Re: What is this white creamy stuff in my hive?

Happy, it's in the cells as well. Would it crystallize in there? I've purchased "crystallized" honey, and I have had store bought honey crystallize in a jar. But neither of those really look like...

Re: What is this white creamy stuff in my hive?

Yeah, I don't think it's mold. If it is, it's like nothing I've ever seen. It's thicker than honey, but definitely a liquid.

What is this white creamy stuff in my hive?

I opened a hive (two 8-frame mediums) today, which was showing no signs of life. They had gone through most of the honey on the bottom, but had plenty on the top. But they were all dead, over in the...
