  1. My hive destroyed in a major fire happening now.

    Looks like I lost all my bees here. Today 7 fires were set off by a truck dragging chains on the highway. This hurts. I don't know what to do. I had no insurance, never thought something like this...

    we use lime green paint to mark our swarm queens. plus all swarms caught go to the Rogue River apiary away from home apiary.
    it's a precaution to watch for varrora buildup.
