    JW- Thanks for the clarification. Price of boxes has gone up bad enough with the buy outs I probably could not buy cedar but it it keeps moths and such out I wonder if the bees would like the smell...

    What about cedar chips? If you put moth ball in the closet and people have a cedar closet to keep the moths out would they work for stored pulled honey frames and boxes?

    It was an interesting day with the bees.

    #1 hive My early producer hive had 9 frames of capped brood and the number two had 5 frames and both had a little eggs and larva.

    I cut the wax and used a pressure washer to clean the pollen and such from the foundation which I popped out to clean.
