    If you have single deeps with excluder and 2-3 medium supers on top, could you expect 80-100 lbs per colony? I have 12 and am thinking I'll get 1200 lbs roughly. if sold at $13 a pound should bring...

    You have like 9 days before it's needed, the dust needs to be all over the hive, then they pack it out, which gets the mites into it.

    I see, yeah I have read it's best not to try and avoid stings. If you just get stung a time or two a year, your more susceptible to becoming allergic.

    Well, 9 out of 12 are Saskatraz bees from Canada, we have mild winters and hot summers in the South, time will tell. did you see the italian hive I requeened with a saskatraz? it's pretty populated...

    They still had some brood to emerge still, I have pollen feeders out, I guess they'll make it, I treated in June, July, Aug, Sept, and did an OAV a few days ago.

    Really? winters pretty mild, zone 7a The lowest I remember it ever being is 4 degrees F overnight, but usually it's 40-50 degrees every day.
