    Water heater as a heater/melter

    Anyone ever think to just cut a water heater in half or just the top and use it? Already has a drain and elements and is insulated. Makes allot of sense... dunno if it would get hot enough though?

    Keep the hive area reduced to the size of the cluster.

    Ensure the entrance to the hive is defendable. Limited in numbers and small enough to manage.

    Tilt the nuc and literally pour syrup into it until your satisfied. I've gotten a quart are a time in them this way.
