    tiny swarm

    I vacuumed up a tiny swarm in the neighbors yard, about 500 bees, no queen? what do ya'll think they were doing? crazy stuff I dumped them in a nuc box.

    The label says to avoid disturbing the colony at time of application. Can I do a full colony exam and then treat immediately, or should I wait and come back to treat?

    I was transferring a nuc to a bigger box the other day, I had the queen safe on a frame, put her in, then set the nuc box on top to smoke the bees out of it, Then I put the box in front and banged it...

    I have a cheap 2 frame extractor, spinning out the sugar syrup, and it's tearing up the wax foundation, what's the trick to it? here's a video of it

    Maybe Saskatraz has something to do with it? they made an intentional brood break or something? They have had feed on for months, trying to get comb drawn.

    51113 Well there is a Queen in there and laying, I swapped the boxes around, the other day ,put the deep up on top, she's come out of hiding:)
