    Do your self a favor and get a stainless steel bottling valve. Like from Maxant. The honey gates can waste more honey than anything else. Leak heavy leaks of honey.

    I like to set them up with a short pipe setup and a valve. So if I need to drain it for any raise I can add a water supple line and drain.

    All of the bee supply house carry honey gates. That are used with a 5 gallon bucket. Yes they can get messy.
