    Bees will not draw out foundation unless there is a need. Why would they draw out foundation with all the empty comb? Feed them treat for mites and keep them alive.

    GEORGE IMERY said don't use smoke because it causes the bees in the supers to chew the cappings to fill up with honey. Then your supers will dripping with honey.
