Checked my hive yesterday found wax moth larva clustered in one area on one frame, cut out that area killed the larva My question is can I still use
para dichloro benzene, I know the EU has...
Creating super bees is how we got africanized bees and they came from South America too
Clark's beetle shim
Are there any beetle blaster style traps with removable lids?
Of course my main fear is getting DE into the hive and it seems to stick to everything
I am thinking about trying a taco holder to keep beetle blaster upright while I fill it
thanks i actually tried a syringe and still got it all over the place guess I need to practice
How do you put de in a beetle blaster I have tried and it always ends up on the top of the trap, not good for bees
I have a stream less than 100 yds from my hive, behind a stand of pines, is that enough?
Ok I have a screened bottom boards, if i put this on top of the SBB assuming it traps the beetles between the shim and the sbb , how does it kill the beetles?
I know this is an oid thread, but I read online (I know) that only brushymountain OA has EPA approval can anybody confirm or deny?
yields a 404 error
Strongly recommend screened bottom board because of Varroa mites, with a way to insert a solid insert under the screen for winter
