    I guess i am lucky in catching swarms, as for a bad beekeeper in my area there is none. In my county there is not 10 beekeepers in the entire county. I live in a county that is 90% pine plantations...

    You'll never catch bees without drawn comb/ propolis, wax.
    I catch several swarms a year and I do not use any comb or wax/propolis.

    It sounds like it is your hive that is queen less. I would check the aggressive hive and see if it was queen right. If it is not re queen it. If it is queen rite I would still re queen it also.

    In some states you have to have a pest control licenses to remove bees if you charge for it. So check with your agriculture department to make sure about your state.

    Pollen patty drying out

    Is there any thing that can bee added to pollen patties to keep them moist longer. I am adding vegetable oil to the patties but they still dry out pretty fast.
