    Put in the refrigerator for a week or so and rack it again. If not cristal clear, try super klear instead.

    The chip was placed under the top cover on Langstroth single deep hives , so above the chip there was only the top cover and the roof.

    In full sun, bees fly erlyer in post-winter flights , so weak and diseased bees die far from the hive.

    Hairless means that is an old bee or affected by viral paralisis .

    The same for me.

    For 50 or even 200 hives I think it doesnīt justifie the money you spend in a cappings spinner, as even with a motorised press, you still remain with about 5% honey in caps. ...

    Very true. I have four hives in a very small yard (about 40 m2 ) surrounded by walls of 3 to 5 meters. They fly out of the hives and go staight up . Never bother anyone.

    Folbex VA, (bromopropylate), used in late 80 for varroa and before that to treat acarapis woody, was banned about 10 years ago ( or more... I canīt recall ) Residues are still found in german wax...

    Itīs advisable.

    Even you donīt have clinic manifestations of disease, spores are usualy present in old coomb. Change three frames a year, so in three or four year all nest frames are changed.
