    I vote for epi pens make sure your physician codes it correctly so your insurance covers it. I always have liquid benadryl on hand but never used it even when I have taken 30 plus stings

    I am in the same zone appx as you and run double deeps with a medium honey supers. Best setup for me. I overwintered in single deeps last yr cause d crappy fall flow but that usually is not the case....

    Never ever have washed my heavy cotton/canvas gloves in 13 seasons , doesn't seem to make much of a difference in my case

    Make sure you have pollen coming in. I place the nuc where the original hive was so I capture some of the field bees; then wait 2 days and put on robber screens and would feed. YMMV
