    dribble is best when there is no sealed brood.

    i would think it too hot in illinois for MAQS right now, and def dont use two. i use MAQS in spring and apivar in summer when i pull honey. feed at same time as apivar.

    i treat with MAQS in the spring when i put my first honey supers on. so the short answer to your question is yes. MAQS when above 80* highs is rough on the colony.

    i would say PMS that led to an abscond. there is frass. dont rely solely on mite drop. some might say look for EFB.
