A place for them to move from one frame to another ?

Maybe there is something on the new frames they don't like ? Try taking out one of the foundations and see if they draw their own comb.

Piss ants... LOVE that saying. When I moved from Mass to TX they called them that. I was like Huh ?
Then I was told that they are also known as Sugar ants... or piss ants because they piss you off...

Or do you only let it be full enough so that you can have the follower board in at the back- for the feeder?
