    What I have done is doubled down on traps got new better ones with bait on the way took the medium super I had on top that was only half drawn with drone comb off (that's where 85% of the beetles...

    I don't want to use chemical treatment but if it keeps getting worse I'll be forced to either let the nature run its course or use chemicals

    Did inspection today to find an ungodly amount of SHB just under the hive top and in the frame rests and mountains of bees trying with all their might to get them I have been using 2 types of beetle...

    My last inspection was last Monday and she was in the hive great brood pattern plenty of eggs tons of pollen and some capped honey no super cells or cups and no drones or drone brood

    to smoke or not to smoke

    As the past few times I've been going into the hive it seems that when I use smoke they tend to be more irritable and without as long as I don't bump around too much they are 10 time more tolerant...

    I got my first sting today, on my eye lid of all places. Besides the initial pain of the sting the tingle feeling afterwards is kind of relaxing and almost addictive in a way. Is it just me or does...
