Re: Post Your Bloom Dates - 2015

The Golden Rod just started to bloom on 7/30 in NE PA. However, 5 days later, I have yet to see one bee on the plants. They
are on my Plantain weeds. Today, I stopped at a new garden shop.
While perusing, I noticed many, many honey bees on plants named "Mountain Mint." I purchased 3 plants
and will add them to the Russian Sage area.

Started Blooming????
Galanthus- AKA Snow Drops

While inquiring about some hives today, the homeowner pointed these out to me. Bees actively gathering nectar and/or pollen- could not believe how many bees were on this small patch of plants.
