Hi Erin,
It's me, Keith Fletcher, and I post under "fatscher". The Virginia State Beekeepers Association every year grants the LL Langstroth Award to a beekeeper that has made significant contributions to the advancement and promotion of beekeeping in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
I would like to submit my friend, Karla, whom I understand you know (or have conversed about hive mgmt techniques and sustainable beekeeping).
I was wondering if you would feel urged to write a letter in support of my nomination of her for this award. Karla submitted for, and was awarded, a SARE grant in 2008 and we have skyrocketed our knowledge of beekeeping and sustainability ever since.
If you have a moment, perhaps you can e-mail me at "fatscher@comcast.net" so we can discuss further.
Thanks for taking the moment to read this,
Sincerely,
Keith Fletcher
