    Default Resource hogging

Using a lot of system resources for a bb. IE and Chrome both start the system revving up when I go to beesource forums.
    CPU 14-75+ %
    Memory 225,000KB

That is after it is loaded and just sitting there.
It could be all the ad scripts.

Ok... I dropped it from my first post because I thought - whatever.... but then after posting it is right back in the face again.
Can someone tell the "love has no labels" ad script to knock it off. Top and bottom of page - over and over and over....

Unfortunately, the "love has no labels" is a major ad campaign going around on the internet and is very hard to remove. As for the site eating up your resources - if a forum takes up 15% of your computer power, that's a sign that your PC is outdated and may be time to consider other options.

    We apologize for the inconvenience.

    Cheers,
    Nate

That was CPU processing and ram consumption.
System may be out dated some, but hardly enough to be unable to handle a forum.
Intel Pentium D (dual core) 3.4GHz dekstop
    2GB Ram
    Win7 Pro 64bit.
    over DSL.

Do not see this on any other sites -- except one which is horribly coded (and that one is only an on-loading drag).

(my comment on the banner ad was just venting at the ad - I can easily block it)

A forum should not even tax an old 486 The internet connection should be the slowest point.
I am not talking about attempting to load a youtube video or such - just the main forum page.

Try this browser and see if it makes a difference. Opera

That's the one I use, but I don't have Windows, and it shows 38 scripts blocked on this page.

I tested in Chrome and IE. Opera does not show the problem (during load it does, but then stops) - but this could be because the ads do not come up in opera (I may have blocked them a while back).

Maybe I will set IE to block all the scripts and see if that takes care of it.

    Thanks

    Hey there,

We would recommend users to use Chrome or Firefox when using our forum.
On mobile, we would recommend the same on enhanced mobile view or desktop view.

If users are using IE, I would recommend using compatibility mode.
Here is a link to refer to: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/...ompatibility-v

    Cheers,
