    Default Interested Newbie!

    Hey there!

I'm currently in an office job, but am interested in getting into beekeeping. Advice is welcome!

Welcome. This is a good place to start.

I'd say read, research, read, research wait and prepare to lose a few bee's.
Also listen to all thoughts. Some bee keeping advice even on here is VERY controversial. Such as treat for mites don't treat. Get all the info you can this year then when you start take out the advice you can work with.

It sounds like you want to give up the office job and make a living beekeeping.
The best advice I have for now is...
Don't give up the office job.
Get 3 beehives going and see how you can manage with that as a first step.
I'm not always the brightest Beek in the box, so I carry a flash light for my occasional dim moments.

Welcome You can work in an office and keep bees, just don't take hive to work with you. Just kidding but once you get comfortable working the bees, a day in the apiary can be close to a mental health day

Welcome to Bee Source and good luck with your bees. Start with two hives and see how you like it, then expand as you get more comfortable.
