    Default U.S. Forest Land Leases

    Curious if anyone on here has ever done a forest service land lease and set up a yard on one what is required?

    that was helpful to me. They also tell you about administration fees and a guy once told me he will have to have a crew survey an area. So good luck and dont give up. I got a state land lease instead.

    Don't know if it's the same nationwide, but here's some Arizona info. I got a 5 year permit for 5 locations at $25 a piece per year. When it came time to renew, they had started charging "cost recovery fees" of around $800 even if they denied the renewal. I had the option of a 5 year or 10 year renewal but no one could explain the difference. I went with 10 assuming they charge $800 every time you renew. I have heard of people getting a one year permit using a "categorical exclusion" which skips the environmental analysis. I assume that's cheaper so you should ask about that option. Plan on waiting up to a year for a decision.
