I've used 3 different types of staples in the past 3 years. Until a couple weeks ago, most had been Hitachi, with some being Bostitch.
I decided to change brands because I had rust showing through on some of the boxes I had painted last year. They were made with Hitachi staples which said they were galvanized but they rusted, so.....
I bought some Senco 1 1/2" staples at a local lumber store. They are awesome. I put a hive body together with one side upside down. I noticed it when I sat it down. When I removed the side panel, the staples pulled through the front and rear panel of the box, they didn't pull out lengthwise. I guess they have some type of glue on the staple.
At any rate, I know a lot of you folks use staplers and wanted to pass along that the Senco has the best holding power of any staples I've used.
