    Default add empty super now?

I am relatively new to beekeeping and am still learning with only one hive. I have just done my first harvest and when I removed that super, I noted that the remaining super directly beneath (which I added in June) was almost completely drawn out with comb and honey at about 50-60%. I was wondering if I can replace my now empty super that I harvested from, back to the hive. I know that we are approaching cooler weather and their production will slow etc. We are still having 100 degree days here in Texas and have had more than usual rain- everything is green, which normally it is not. If they are going to continue to build the hive do I need to give them room? If I add that empty super, where do i need to put it? Top?

It's too late to add undrawn supers unless you got a good fall flow coming, and even then, they might not draw any new wax, best to extract and put those frames back on if you think you will get more nectar coming in.
