Default Synthetic Queen Lures - Thoughts?

I just ordered a few packets from Mann Lake. Any thoughts? I set mine with Lemongrass, which got instant response. Will the Synthetic Queen Pheromone do the same?

    Thanks

I think the LGO gets them to notice the trap and the Queen juice gets them to stay put. Well.... a better chance they will stay put anyway.

Both work for swarm lure. The combination works best. They do not have exactly the same effect. I would use a piece 1/4 of the whole piece of the pseudo queen and four drops of lemongrass essential oil.

Eisky - I used two cotton balls w lgo inside a sandwich bag with a few holes in it to keep it fresh.. so if one drop was the norm then mine will be high on lgo

I'm talking about pseudo queen. It comes in little plastic tubes that are impregnated with QMP. The lure I would leave in the tube. Next time I would buy Lemongrass essential oil instead as that is what is in the tube anyway.

Pheromone and LGO in combination may work best, but for the money LGO alone works well in Indiana. Maybe if I wasn't so cheap I'd catch more bees. Experiment and keep us all posted.

Thoughts? Yeah, do synthetic queen lures attract synthetic queens?
