    Default Combining question.

I know how to combine two colonies using the newspaper method. How do you just combine a frame or two of capped brood with the attending bees into a weaker colony. We had a speaker at the bee club meting say this time of year you could just stick them in as they would not fight. What say ye?

Yep, just stick them in. Any time of year. Bees will always take free brood!

Do you stick the brood comb in with its bees on it, or brush them off?
