    Default Where is the News?

I noticed the news link is no longer visible. Is it by design or is it my browser?

The "What's New?" button is still at the top of my page.

If you're referring to the news feed that was on the beesource home page, it's gone. We came under attack this last week and found the portal to be the add-on news feed in WordPress. We've gone back to the core WP and will not likely be reinstalling the feed. We're redesigning the static side of beesource and hope to have that done in a few weeks.

I read the Google News page frequently.
    https://news.google.com/nwshp?hl=en

By default, it is news of general interest, but if you have a Google account, you can customize the News page to have sections of any particular topic you are interested in. You could create a custom news section using the keyword "honeybees" for instance. In addition to specifying a topic, you can also adjust sources (plus or minus).

    Go here: http://news.google.com/
Enter the keyword "beekeeping" and you will get the same info we were using in the news feed.

I don't get/understand "What's New"/"Activity Stream". Paired here because clicking on What's New takes u to the Activity Stream. What are the good for? Especially when one can see the newest posts by clicking on New Posts and see them in context to previous Posts.

Different format. Don't click on it if it's of no use to you. I'm not one of the designers of vBulletin.

I always check for New Posts, previously by clicking on the "What New" button. The "New Posts" button is smaller, and less convenient to use on a smart phone.

I think it would be nice if the two button locations could be swapped...

Do you have you browser set to block certain items/data? If you want to see the full site, you'll have to make sure your not blocking things.

I don't think so. I haven't changed anything that I am aware of. What is that word? Beekeeping? Or what? Where does it take one if they click on it?

Barry or someone must be doing some work on that area of the header..... looks like 3 categories that are overlapped but onely 2 categories are active.....

BeeSource must be getting hit with a lot of spammers and such - lately...

Herb, what browser are you using? Are you using an iPad or similar, or a laptop/desktop? Not seeing any overlapping here and all the links work.

You should be seeing this (Firefox):

Yea... probably is some obscure issue going on with my ancient hardware/software - I run FoxFire on top of a Ubuntu OS. I like free stuff.

On a laptop with Chrome/Windows 7 everything looks fine. Also looks fine on an Iphone.

Technology is always changing in this arena, forum updates, third party updates (Java), browsers, OS, etc., and I have found one must keep up with it or you start loosing functionality and you begin seeing all kinds of quirky stuff. It's job security for those in this industry!
