Default Where to get Hive Staples?

Can we get these outside of bee supply stores ...like in a local Ace or big box hardware store? If so, what are Hive Staples normally called? I searched under "staples" and didn't see anything that resembled them.

If you mean the wide staples commonly used to attach bottom boards to a hive body, they may not be available in regular hardware stores.

But you can use an alternative - pieces of vertical 1x2 lumber screwed to the hive stack.

Local cabinet supply shops carry just about every kind of staple you can think of.

I could never bring myself to use them. They make big ugly holes in the sides of the boxes. Consider high quality duct tape horizontally applied.

I used to buy them from FW Jones and Son, Ltd. I think they have a branch north of you in BC.
