There are 3 "sticky" threads with larger post counts (bloom dates, honey prices, and swarm dates), but otherwise, the granddaddy of them all is:

    Treatment Free Commercial Beekeepers
845 posts with 39,800 views as of this posting. Last post is by Tim Ives.

Turns out a dog-of-a-movie with Ben Stiller starring as the vivid daydreamer is about to be dumped on the X-mas audience. Wonderfully, WLC can now make the addition of "movie promoter and key PR theoretician" to his rich and varied resume.

In the short time I have bothered to post on this forum, WLC has been a "police detective" in witness protection because international killers were after him, the honest cop who sent his bent boss to jail, a international high-financier working in exotic European capitals, and now a renowned scientist briefly stopping by the forums on his way to picking up his Nobel.

Victor-ry to the imagination. There is an element of truth (oxygen) to each wild fantasy, but the prosiac, everyday reality is perhaps a pensioner mixing up yogurt to control his own flatulence.

    Funniest post I've ever read!

Really? I think you may not be counting Tailgater Threads, are you. Seems like we had one that went into the thousands of Posts. Something about Religion. Barry?

Do Tailgater Posts contribute to the Post Count?

I don't believe that Tailgater has anything to do with bees.

Where's the qualifier? I can see how one would assume correctly that the question meant "What are the most Posts ever on a single Thread in beesource?", but where does it say "berelated"?

Well, Mark, if you don't like the way I evaluate Beesource post counts, you are welcome to post your own version.

Since participation in Tailgater requires individual additional permission from Barry, it hardly seems reasonable to count those threads as Beesource. But maybe thats just me.

2nd might be a thread from TG, but that's not about beekeeping.

Not sure, Mark. I don't think so since it's a private forum. They're not included in the search as well. If I made it public, I'd have to rebuild the thread information and then they would be included.

I'll be sure to close down the forum at post count 999,999 and reopen on Jan. 2nd.

Then we passed the 1 million mark a long time ago, if one included all Posts ever posted to a beesource.com Forum.

Beesource has been dogging it for a couple of days and I was wondering if you had shut it down or somehow curtailed my ability to post. Now it seems to be working fine.
