Default union differences ? Or is this normal ?

Since I'm new and don't really know what I'm doing, I'm here again.
Is it normal or is there some orginizational problems? I'm referring to the comb being developed on opposite sides of the frame. It's this way on more than one frame. Will they just meet in the middle? I have others that are full frames but I honestly didn't notice how they started out.
Sorry if I'm asking about something that is completely normal.

My bees tend to start in the middle of the frame (both ways) and work outwards, but you don't have my bees. They will fill it all in eventually unless they run out of nectar or syrup first.

If you have a plastic cover on your hive, they may not like the light coming down through the bee escape hole and will fill in that center spot last, though. One of the reasons I just put my plastic cover in the trash.

I have a "regular" wooden cover / roof. No light gets in.
I'm guessing it is a normal thing. At least for my bees.
Thanks for the replies. I just wanted to make sure something strange wasn't going on. I may be a little paranoid because winter is coming and I'm over reacting about everything right now.

It is fine, at least they are pulling out. They will fill it in, if not now this Spring

Its a 2 gate hive, you're union bees are on one side, while the non union bees work on the other side of the hive.
