    Default NewBee from Amory MS

Don't have any hives yet, but have been gathering info for about a year now. Think I am ready to start now.

    Welcome to Beesource!

There are a lot of "local" issues in beekeeping, and if your Beesource profile does not show anything more specific than "United States", you will either get asked where you are, frequently, or get advice that may not be suited for your location.

Send a PM to administrator Barry with a request to update your profile with your location.

Hi neighbor, I too am new to beekeeping. We apparently both live in Monroe County. I had a good first year with my one little package of bees mailed from Pigeon Mountain, GA. Hope you have ordered your bees, they sell out frequently in early Feb.

Casper... you're perfect! You are elgible (assuming no immediate family has bees) to get $180 to offset your costs from the MS Beekeeping Association/MSU See the thread I just posted in the MS group: http://www.beesource.com/forums/group.php?gmid=3772&do=discuss#gmessage3772] MS Beekeeping Association Cost Share
