    I just saw one yesterday on my marigolds, one of my employees said it looked like a bee-fly. Interesting this post appears here today

    That was probably a horse fly. And weirdly enough, they do have a way of finding marigolds.
    44 years, been commercial, outfits up to 4000 hives, now 120 hives and 200 nucs as a hobby, selling bees. T (mostly).
