A feral hive I've been watching is built under the floor of an old grainery that established itself after swarming this summer. There is about a 1/2 inch of mouse droppings below the hive. I'm positive that once the cold weather hits and they're in a cluster, mice will wipe out their honey stores. I was thinking of putting warfarin mouse blocks under them to try to stop it or even slow the mice down. Any thoughts on this? Thanks.
