    Default Hello from England

    Hi All

I am new to bee keeping and this seems friendly and helpful! I live in England and am a member of my local beekeeping assc, but things are slowing down here due to the impending winter months <sob>. Whereas here appears to be full on all year round.

So I hope you won't mind me lurking on your threads and picking up some tips along the way. I have always loved Bees but have always worked with horses. I am hoping that this could become a career. Or at least enough to keep food on the table and the tax man off my back!.

Thanks for reading and hope it didn't put you to

    Kind Regards

Welcome to the party. Lot of people need to talk bees in the winter to get their fix. Do you know of Dave Cushmans site? Google it with beekeeper and you will bring it up. Lots of good information and that quaint foreign measurement system is even used for demensions and such. Reminds me that I bet he has a bee escape their to copy so I can build some tomorrow so I need to go there now myself. He is passed on but his site is maintained.
