    I've known people who had their home insurance canceled because the insurance company did a drive by inspection and saw the hives in the backyard...

    ...read it a bit more carefully. You have to have purchased the marked queen and have a bill of sale. Nothing about this would allow beekeepers to.raise their own queens.
    Mkst hobbyists rely on homeowners for their hobby. Just as policys are often cancled because of unsafe conditions (the presence of a.trampoline is a common one), you will start to see underwriters refuse to cover policies where BMP isnt being used.
