    Default VSH and Hygenic?

I see queens for sale that say they are one or the other. Some say they are both. What is the difference?

VSH is a specific trait for cleaning out cells with reproducing Varroa in (or making them reproduce less). This helps keep Varroa-numbers down.

Hygienic is a more generic trait for cleaning out dead larvae. This helps in preventing a lot of other diseases and maybe even Varroa to some extent.

The hygienic level in bees is important because hygienic bees are able to deal with the brood diseases better than non-hygienic. And all VSH bees are hygienic--but not all hygienic bees are VSH.
