Default Heilyser Technology JB200 Oxalic Acid Vaporizer

We are selling the JB200 Oxalic Acid Vaporizer on our website BedillionHoneyFarm.com
    Heilyser Technology JB200 Electric Vaporizer

This vaporizer is the fastest vaporizer available and was developed for beekeepers who care for a large or small number of hives. The JB200 is powered by a 12-Volt car, lawn tractor or motorcycle battery. With this system, it is possible to connect several vaporizers " in line " to treat more than one colony at the time. The vaporizer is best suited to wooden beehives, and not recommended for use in Styrofoam hives. An entrance clearance of 1/2 inch or 12 mm is required. The treatment takes approx 60 seconds, but depends on the power of each individual battery, therefore; we recommend that you perform an initial test outside the hive, to establish the evaporation time for your particular battery. The JB 200 comes with heat protection for the acid tray to prevent scorching. Seal the hive for at least 10 minutes after application using a foam strip. The treatment with JB200 Electric Vaporizer can be applied 12 months of the year as long as the temperature are 3-5 degrees above freezing point.

    Instructions and measuring scoop included.

All in stock vaporizers are shipped within 48 hours. If it is temporarily out of stock, you will be notified. Only ship within US at this time.

I have one 5 years old which still works fine. I have a couple 4 years old which are still working. If the glow plug quits working you can replace it at your auto parts store.

Spoke to Heinz about this and we will be adding some maintenance info to the instructions with the vaporizer. He knows beekeepers who have been using it for 10 years + now. It is recommended that you 1.) put a switch (e.g. a lamp switch) between the vaporizer and battery to prevent over-heating/prolonged heating, and/or carry a pail of water to dip and cool the vaporizer after each use. 2.) After use, clean the pan with a toothbrush and soapy water to remove any acid residue to avoid corrosion.

Thumbs Up Re: Heilyser Technology JB200 Oxalic Acid Vaporizer

Mark, I finally used the vaporizor , with shocking results. A TF queen, three deeps full of bees and honey, hopgaurd and brood breaks this spring had me overconfident. A conservative dose of OA revealed thousands of dead mites in about 72 hours. Its a keeper!

I'm ready to place my order, but, I'm a little challenged when it comes to innovation; would you happen to have any pictures to exemplify the lamp switch set up?

    Thank you in advance.

DSCF2302.jpg Here is a photo of our wiring hookup. Included with the vaporizer are 2 spade clips we have attached to the white lamp wire in the photo. They plug in to clips on the vaporizer. Here is a link to a video on installing a lamp switch inline: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u79Z8kI5VmQ&app=desktop It is not necessary to have a switch but is recommended so that the vaporizer is not heated any longer than necessary, prolonging the life of the vaporizer. At the opposite end, to connect to your power source, attach battery clips.

We are now selling the vaporizer along with an assembled wiring kit: Switch, battery clips and spade clips on 10 feet of wire, plus 12 oz of oxalic acid for $140 shipped. Ready to go out of the box. Instructions for the vaporizer and a measuring scoop for the acid are also included.
