i stopped to watch them working goldenrod today as well. No pics, but it sure was nice to get up close and watch them work.
The girls brought in a load of yellow pollen last week after rain. Frames filled of yellow and loads of yellow under the hive. I thought it was goldenrod but not yet, its a similar looking plant with less flowers and larger pedals. Im guessing the GR bloom will start in 2 weeks here. Can't wait the girls need some nectar!!!
Burns375 Golden Rod is just starting to bloom south of us in Grayson County, we should be seeing the flowers in the next week or so.
