    Default New from Tipton, MIchigan

    Hello,

No bees yet, I hope to start next Spring. I live in an agricultural zoning area with a few fields around my house. I have my reservations and concerns about the use of Roundup Ready seed that the farmers use (soy beans and corn)? But I also have this indescribable desire to work with the bees! I’m looking forward to our journey….

Poke around here a bit more and you will find an abundance of opinions on
    both sides of this issue.

My opinion is that glyphosate (generic name for Roundup) is one of the milder issues that bees encounter while foraging. The biggest problem with large scale application of glyphosate is that it eliminates the weeds that are otherwise forage for bees. There are plenty of bigger bee threats to worry about.
