    Default Anyone using MAQS?

I am looking for advice for applying mite away quick strips. We have high mite loads and purchased enough to treat our 7000 hives but want to hear from other commercial beekeepers as to their results before I apply them.

place them inbetween the brood chambers. if you put under the cover and it gets to hot they burn the bees, maybe even kill the queen. randy oliver has some good info on using them. i would not put them on if the day time highs are over 80 degrees. good luck

Yeah, he had lots of great info in the latest bee journal. Except that he only uses 1 strip per hive for a knock back treatment, and I so want the knock out 2 strip treatment I guess. Thanks for responding.
