    Default National Honeybee Day.

    Happy National Honeybee Day.

We have something to celebrate this National Honeybee Day: the new EPA labels protecting pollinators.

Thank you EPA, and we hope that more good news is on the way.

So how is everyone going to celebrate? . Work their bees? Thank a bee? Hang their black and yellow flag? Have a glass of mead? Watch The Bee Movie?

I sure as heck hope not. That movie aught to be banned.

No, he wasn't. He wasn't even a good transexual bee. I found it entertaining until I couldn't. In my opinion it would have been a better story had a female comic, say Paula Poundstone or Amy Pouler, been the lead character. Then it would have been funny and correct and held high by the Beekeeping Industry.

Sorry if that's too cranky for you. I have an 18 year old and some grandkids. I'll give them bee coloring books, let them play in my Honey Van, and look into beehives w/ me before I watch the Bee Movie w/ them.

U go ahead and enjoy it though.

Paula Poundstone? You gotta be kidding me. That's what we want a convicted child abuser playing the lead role in a kids flick. Jeese. Now your making me grouchy.

    I didn't know that.

Ah ha, "child endangerment", not "child abuse". I knew of her alcoholism. Was not aware of her arrest for driving while intoxicated w/ children in the car. No forgiveness? Never made a mistake?

Checked all my hives in short pants and short sleeves...no veil.
The girls were so mellow; they must have known.
