    Default what is wrong with this bee?

    checked hives tonight. In a hive of easily 50,000 bees, this one stood out like a sore thumb. Probably mites or something. Thankfully, its the only one I saw like this.

    It's called DWV/deformed wing virus and can be a symptom of varroa

    Yes that is Deformed Wing virus and it is commonly spread by Varroa. All hives have some Varroa mites, so if you only see a few bees like that it is probably not too worrisome, but if you see more than a few, then you probably need to treat for mites right away.
