Default Funny looking stripe on bottom of Cordovan bees

I was looking through one of my hives today and noticed quite a few of the bees had a funny looking bottom. Id say about 20% of the bees have this. The queen was installed about 5 weeks ago, and shes a Walter Kelley Cordovan, so this is the first time Ive noticed this. Some of the Cordovan colored bees and the regular Italian bees have the orange colored stripe, but it seems that more of them that have it are Cordovan color. Anyone ever seen this ?

That is funny looking. I've never looked that closely but that could be the space where they emit alarm pheremone when fanning. Not Sure. Do the none fanning bees look the same.

Nasonov scent fanning, they're exposing their nasonov scent gland and moving their wings to direct the scent, not expressing a different type of coloration.
