Default Bees only storing honey in rear part of honey supers

Got a couple of hives that are storing honey in only the back side of their honey supers. The other hives are storing right in the middle of the frames. One queen decided she would use the extra room to lay eggs. So I have brood in some of my frames. I added an excluder to keep her out till they hatch. Don't usually use them but keep a couple around for such reasons. Anyone got any ideas.

I have been told if you have bees who want to only put honey in one part of a super to rotate the super.

Just my limited experience, but I find my bees drawing anything better on the sunnier of the 2 sides in the hives.

Is there an opening or an entrance near the front of the super?

Flip ever other frame so they build them correctly. See if that helps.

I see this a lot in my two story nucs. If I don't close the 3/4" auger hole in the top box, the bees won't draw the foundation anywhere near the hole.

Is the hive level? I've seen hives that are tipped forward too much and instead of a arch of honey on brood frames the brood was on the front and honey to the back.

Could it be influenced by microclimate?

The frames in one are fully drawn and the rear is capped honey and the front brood of if different stages. The second is mostly fully drawn with capped honey in front and not much of anything in the front.
