Anyone else having a lot of bees turn nice to junk in a month or make honey and die?

Title says it. But heres a few more details.
About all of the bees im talking about went to blueberries. They all looked geat going up except for part of a load that just squeaked by at 8 frames. And now 80% have failing queens (which were new) and or look like junk and the weaker ones that went Up have made made at least over a box of honey on average. The ones that were strong... some of them made honey but now the population dropped to about half and there is way more brood in the hives now than what should be for the amount of bees.

I have heard lots of reports of swarming the past month and have experienced some of the same problems as well. In our case it just seemed that our bees were ahead of the season and when running a lot of singles it becomes a delicate balance when the bees are ready weeks ahead of the main flow. The hives that "plugged out" in Texas swarmed the worst while the bees that were hauled north as doubles have had no swarming problems and have an extra full medium of honey on them up to this point which is rarely the case. The hives in general look quite healthy but we will no doubt see lower production from those hives that swarmed and will no doubt lose a few that didn't "catch" a queen.
