    Default hello from Wales

    hello all

I'm very new to beekeeping - having started two hives this spring, one nuc from the local beekeeping association, and one split from a kind neighbour.
I decided to go foundationless, despite all local beekeeping contacts shaking their heads in bemusement.
It was a very slow start to the season in these parts, but the last 3 weeks have been an endless sunny blast, so the bees are catching up fast!
It all seems to be going great but inevitably, questions and problems have come up, so here I am to learn more from you all.

    Hello LadyK,

I'm new also both to beekeeping and beesource. I just wanted to say hey, and welcome as alot of people on here has done for me. I'm sure we all have questions from time to time and this seems to be a great place to start.
