Default How much honey are you getting in Michigan?

I have 1 hive that has put up 180 lbs. of honey (supers only). It's an overwintered hive with a new queen. It must have at least 100,000 workers and is really calm. I torn it down on a cloudy day, no smoke, and they didn't even noticed me. 3 deeps brood and 4 supers on it now, and its filled with bees from top to bottom.

my stronger colonies are just now moving up into the 5th medium. We've had a slow start over here and star thistle has yet to bloom.

I have a few overwintered colonies that should produce close to 200 lbs. the way they are going. All this rain over on this side of the state lately has cut into the total crop from the main flow significantly for all my other hives, unless things turn around quickly. John
