My hive is doing great, I just want to thank all who participate in this forum for all your good info, especially Michael Bush, Dave of Davesbees.com and Turtlebee farms for the great package of bees.IMG_6163_zps39d95f46.jpgIMG_6146_zps1e01ed51.jpgIMG_6135_zpsdaa96081.jpgIMG_6120_zpsc0c664dc.jpg

Wow Darb, that's just pretty! I wish I'd put windows in my hives. I'm going to have to build another I think

Well, they swarmed yesterday. Amazing how loud they were and how quickly they were gone (they landed about 50ft up a pine tree) Here a pic of them bearding the night before. It's been hot here (upper 80's) so the bearding didn't really concern me... I'm going to go through the hive today and look for queen cells, see if honey was blocking brood comb.... anything else I should look for? The good news is I think I may have a swarm in my Warre bait hive.
