Near black cutout comb, assuming the honey is fine?
Halfway through a cutout, plan for the worst and still always takes me longer. Massive hive, but hardly any comb lighter than brown, mostly black. Bees made home between a shed floor and sand ground. Sand + honey+ sawdust+ displaced bees... you can use your imagination on that one. Crushed the best comb for honey, looks like molasses. Is this because of the nectar source, dark comb, or a combo of both? It's tasty regardless, just curious if comb contributes to color.
