    Smile Hello from Massachusetts

I am a first year Bee Keeper and my hives are doing great. I love getting advise from other bee keepers to keep my girls happy and healthy. My goal is raising healthy hives and hopefully yield some honey once they have stored ample stores for themselves. I look forward to chatting and learning

Welcome to the site! First year bee keeper here too. I added a super to 1 of 4 yesterday. I had already added one to one of the others a couple of weeks ago. I expect to top off the other two within a week and maybe add a 2nd to the hottest hive. Such an interesting adventure!

I'm finding a bunch of beeks in town, made a connection with a couple guys who have 16 Hives, and I'm surprised at how common it is...or isn't enough. My family is loving the experience so far. Maybe one day we can catch up and swap notes. Out of curiosity have you joined the Middlesex County Beekeepers Association, I just joined and trying to find time to attend a meeting or two.

At Beesource you will generally get plenty of advice. The hard part is deciding which of the conflicting opinions to follow!
